Coronavirus (COVID-19) Updates:

Although we are currently not able to meet with you in person at our physical location, we want our community to know that we are OPEN and continuing to serve students and families. Groves Academy students are taking all classes virtually. The Learning Center at Groves is offering online one-to-one tutoring and remediation with Groves Specialists as well as Speech and Language Therapy via telehealth technology. We continue to schedule future Diagnostic Assessments and can begin the process with families through video conference. Laurie Kincade

Psychologist Intern

M.A. in Clinical Psychology, Minnesota State University, Mankato
B.S., in Psychology, University of Minnesota

Laurie assesses and supports the social, emotional, behavioral, academic, and psychological development of children, adolescents, and adults. She is passionate about helping clients and families advocate and find their voice in their lives and about bringing knowledge and services to communities and families who otherwise may not have access to such support. She is trained in trauma-focused cognitive behavior therapy. Laurie is a member of National Association of School Psychologists Member and of grassroots advocacy groups in the metro area that advocate for legislative changes related to education and mental health. Her favorite children’s book is “The Rabbit Listened” by Cori Doerrfeld.
