Coronavirus (COVID-19) Updates:

Although we are currently not able to meet with you in person at our physical location, we want our community to know that we are OPEN and continuing to serve students and families. Groves Academy students are taking all classes virtually. The Learning Center at Groves is offering online one-to-one tutoring and remediation with Groves Specialists as well as Speech and Language Therapy via telehealth technology. We continue to schedule future Diagnostic Assessments and can begin the process with families through video conference. Jeannie Parker

Speech-Language Pathologist, ADHD Certified Educator - M.S., CCC-SLP, ADHD-CE

Jeannie has been working as a Speech-Language Pathologist since 2016. She is licensed through the Minnesota Department of Education, certified through the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA), and certified a Certified Educator for ADHD. Jeannie’s professional career began in the public schools where she worked with middle school students. In 2018, Jeannie joined the Groves team to focus on helping children with learning disabilities and ADHD build confidence and improve their speech and language skills. Her day-to-day at Groves includes completing speech/language assessments, planning intervention, collaborating with teachers, conducting one-on-one/small group therapy, and teaching summer school courses. In addition to her speech and language work, Jeannie also serves students with executive functioning needs. Outside of work you may find Jeannie at the dog park with her dog Nova or playing the piano.
