Emily Behrens
Lower/Middle School Counselor
Education & Experience:
Emily went to the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse where she received her Bachelor of Science in Therapeutic Recreation. She also studied at Stephens College in Columbia, MO where she received her Master’s in Strategic Leadership. Emily has worked with children, adolescents, adults, and families over the past 12 years in hospital, mental health, community, and school settings. Emily started at GLO in 2014 and has been an LS/MS counselor at GLO since 2016.
Hobbies:
In addition to spending time with her husband, daughter, and family, Emily enjoys traveling, paddleboarding, reading, and cooking.
