Education & Experience: 

Alice earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Virginia. An engineering job moved her to Minnesota, where she felt the call to pursue a more people-centered career. She worked with a campus ministry at the University of Minnesota before deciding to go back to school herself, earning a Master’s of Education in Mathematics Education. Prior to coming to Groves in 2021, Alice has worked in education in many capacities: classroom teacher (Minneapolis Public Schools), home educator (teaching her three boys over a span of ten years), private tutor, math support paraprofessional, and long-term substitute (Westonka Public Schools).

Hobbies: 

Alice enjoys cooking, singing, tap dancing, and keeping active (running, swimming, kayaking, golf).
