Groves Academy is a national leader in the fields of literacy and teaching children with learning disabilities – and we are right here in the Twin Cities.
You may be familiar with Groves since parents founded the school in 1972, but Groves is now more than our school. We provide services to families in the community who do not attend our school, and we train educators.
Groves Academy is a non-profit organization that transforms lives through education. We are comprised of three programs: Our School, The Learning Center, and the Institute for Professional Learning.
Our School serves students in grades 1-12 who have strong ability and a desire to learn along with dyslexia, ADHD, or some other learning challenge that keeps them from achieving at their full potential.
The Learning Center supports families in the community who do not attend our school but benefit from our expertise through services including diagnostic testing, tutoring, summer programs, speech-language therapy, career and post-secondary coaching, educational consulting, and assistive technology training.
The Institute for Professional Learning shares the evidence-based teaching methods from our school to advance literacy instruction with other teachers, schools, and organizations in the community.
2017-2018 Community Education Workshop Series
