Parent/Guardian Portal

ALMA is the student information system we use to manage attendance, schedules, report cards, transcripts, and more. The ALMA parent/guardian portal provides secure access to this information for parents and guardians from our school at Groves Academy.

School Lunch Program

Students enjoy lunch in their classrooms and in the school cafeteria while practicing safe social distancing. Groves Academy has a dedicated chef on staff preparing fresh, nutritious meals in our on-site kitchen. Ingredients are fresh and, whenever possible, farmers-market sourced. We are unable to support serving hot lunches outside the school cafeteria.

Morning Drop-Off and Afternoon Pick-Up Maps

Drop-off and Pick-up Driving Maps Updated October 19, 2020

For Morning Drop-off all divisions will now use the Main Entrance.

Before Care Only Drop-off begins at 7:30 am. Enter at the Main Entrance. Families enrolled in before care will use our normal route for drop-off. Staff will be available at the main entrance to assist.

Lower School, Middle School, and Upper School Drop-off begin at 8:15 am at Main Entrance. All Families will use our normal route for drop-off. When you arrive on campus, the staff will be there to guide you through this process.

Afternoon Pick-up

Lower School Afternoon Pick-up begins at 3:00 pm at the West Entrance. Lower School Families will use the driveway behind the school for pick-up. When you arrive on campus, the staff will be there to guide you through this process.

Middle and Upper School Families will use our normal route for Pick-up at the Main Entrance.

  • Middle School Pick-up begins at 3:00 pm.
  • Upper School Pick-up begins at 2:50 pm.
  • Upper School Families, please use the bus lane.
  • Middle School and Carpool families, please line up on the frontage road and stop at the green cones.
  • When you arrive on campus, the staff will be there to guide you through this process.

After Care and Extracurriculars Only Pick-up from 3:15-5:00 pm at the Main Entrance.

How to Register for Activities and Athletic Programming

For students in all grades, we are resuming our After School Activities (ASA) program beginning April 12. This will be held in a limited capacity on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 3:15-4:15pm. Register by the day with aftercare available until 5:00pm for families who need it.

Spring 2021 ASA Program Registration

For students entering grades 6th-12th, we intend on offering our traditional spring athletics/activities in accordance with the Minnesota State High School League.

Spring Activities Opportunities

Drama Club – Spring Play (9-12) – Begins 3/16 through 5/16
Actor Fee: $200
Crew Fee: $80

Clay Target Team Boys/Girls (6-12) – Begins 4/7 through mid-June.
If your child is new to this activity they must go through training and take some online safety training.
Fee: $350

Track and Field (9-12) Coop with International School of MN/Eagle Ridge Academy.
Open to Boys and Girls. The season will begin on 3/29. MUST have an up-to-date physical on file at Groves.
Fee: $275

Middle School Track and Field (6-8) with Benilde St. Margaret’s.
Open to Boys and Girls. The Season will begin on 4/3. MUST have an up-to-date physical on file at Groves.

Boys Lacrosse (9-12) Coop with Breck
The season will begin on 4/3. MUST have an up-to-date physical on file at Groves.

Students wishing to register for Athletics/Activities at our school at Groves Academy must complete the following steps:

  1. Complete the online registration form, including fee payment.
  2. Sign the MSHSL Eligibility Statement and MSHSL Annual Sports Health Questionnaire Form (PDF) (required ONCE per school year.)*
  3. Get a physical exam and have your physician sign and date the Physical Exam Form -SQPE (PDF) (Valid for 3 years from exam date) and submit ONLY page one to Groves Academy. (If the physical expires during the season, a new physical must be provided before the athlete may begin participation.)*
  4. Send completed forms to:

*Steps 2 and 3 are not required for Clay Target Team or Lower School sports.

Spring is right around the corner and we are excited to offering families an opportunity to purchase some Groves gear!

Our online apparel store is now open through Sunday, March 28th. Some new spring items have been added. All items will ship to Groves Academy and be distributed in late-April/early-May. A percentage of sales go directly back to our school.
