Every day Groves Academy parents share stories of transformation in their children and their families as a result of becoming part of the Groves community. Support from friends like you makes all of these stories possible– including Ben’s story. Thank you.
Learning to read was very difficult for Ben, and homework in the evenings was stressful and emotional for their whole family. Ben’s second grade teacher suggested that he get tested and his parents learned he had dyslexia and ADHD. They made the decision to join the Groves Community like more than 250 families do each year. Almost immediately after Ben started at Groves, teachers helped him understand that he was a bright kid who just learned in a different way. On his way home from school one month into his first year at Groves, Ben announced to his parents that he felt like could do anything at Groves.
Over the last 44 years, Groves has helped transform the lives of tens of thousands of students who need the kind of support that only Groves can provide.
Please consider making a gift today to our Annual Fund that will make an immediate impact on our students, teachers and community. Thank you for your support, your generosity, and your compassion.
Why support Groves Academy Annual Fund?
The annual fund is an important part of Groves Academy advancement program.
Annual Fund contributions are essential to the day to day operations of the school, and are 100% tax-deductible for the donor. These funds help fill the gap in the operating budget that is not covered by tuition and other fees. They help to pay for everything that facilitates the teaching in the classrooms, like instructional materials and equipment, and facilities and utilities.
Why is donating to the Annual Fund important?
The school’s financial strength is dependent upon the participation of all donors. Your participation in the Annual Fund generates enthusiasm and encourages others to join you in supporting the school, and it is a key indicator to foundation and corporate donors that we have consistent support from those we serve, both past and present.
