Drama Club is open to all 9th-12th grade students and provides a fun environment for anyone interested in learning more about theater. As well as developing skills in acting and performance, students learn about communication and social interaction. The theater is equipped with professional digital sound and lighting systems and there are opportunities to work backstage and learn the technical aspects of play production. Two plays are produced during the school year, one in November and another in May. Rehearsals take place two to three times per week for approximately six weeks prior to production date. In addition, certain members in the drama club will have the opportunity to compete in the One-Act Play competition against area schools, which is held in January.
Registration forms and more information for the 2016 fall production will be available in late September.
