In addition to being one of the founders of Groves Academy, Margie Zats boasts successes as an author and in the culinary world.
She helped start Groves in the 1970’s in response to the lack of local options for her son, who had dyslexia. Fast-forward 45 years and Margie Zats is as vital and creative as ever. In this month’s June issue of St. Louis Park magazine, Zats talks about her debut novel, Alexandra the Grate: Who Insisted Life Be Well Done, over-coming obstacles, and offers advice to aspiring writers.
