The admissions process at Groves Academy is designed to enable families and the school to learn as much as possible about one another and to determine if Groves Academy is a good fit for the student. Parents are encouraged to visit the school to observe a typical day at Groves.
Information sessions and tours of Groves are also offered regularly on the second Wednesday of each month throughout the school year. While the Wednesday events are not as personalized as individual appointments, they do provide the opportunity to meet our Head of School, John Alexander, and several current Groves parents and staff members.
During these monthly Wednesday events, guests will enjoy an hour-long tour of the building, including visits to classrooms, followed by an hour-long information session. The information session includes a brief presentation followed by informal Q & A time. Many families have found it helpful to come for a Wednesday tour/info session and then schedule an individual appointment to talk about their specific questions.
Wednesday information sessions and tours are scheduled on the following days (the second Wednesday of the month) during the 2012-13 school year:

Each tour begins at 9:00AM in the main office and is followed by the information session from 10:00 – 11:00AM. Please call 952-920-6377 to make a reservation for the Wednesday events. Tours noted with an asterisk (*) will also include information about Groves Academy's summer school program.
