"Groves is a unique school because all of us share something in common – learning style differences. It is much easier to learn at Groves, and it is also much easier to fit in. Our teachers understand us and we understand each other."

Welcome to Groves Academy!
Whether you are interested in exploring educational options for your 1st or 2nd grader, or evaluating different academic environments for your high school student, Groves Academy provides an appropriately challenging, scientifically-based education to each of our extraordinary students.
We recognize that families in Minnesota have a variety of educational choices for the students, from our excellent public schools to a diverse set of independent and charter schools. As the only established school in Minnesota specifically serving children who have learning disabilities and attention disorders, Groves Academy understands the unique needs of our students and has the tools, knowledge and support required for student success.
Our understanding stems from more than 40 years' working with students with learning disabilities and attention disorders, and includes the intellectual, social and emotional aspects of learning. We understand the journey that led you to our door and we know what to do to help.

The admissions process for our day school program seeks to determine whether Groves is a good fit for a student's needs. Parents and the admissions office start by sharing information, and parents are encouraged to visit the school. Tours are offered on many Wednesdays at 9:00 AM or by appointment.
