Post Secondary (High School) Planning Assessment
The Post Secondary (High School) Planning Assessment is designed to help college-bound students who require accommodations but have not had an assessment completed in the past obtain an up-to-date assessment. The assessment also includes a screening to help determine if a student qualifies for extended time on standardized tests, such as the ACT and SAT.
The assessment package includes multiple measures of cognitive abilities and academic levels in the areas of reading, writing, math and language. These tests are designed for adults and young adults who are pursuing college and/or continuing education. The Post Secondary Planning Assessment includes all of the testing that a Comprehensive Psychoeducational Assessment does; details can be found here.
Outcomes from testing include:
• An interpretive conference to review testing results and any diagnoses made
• A comprehensive written report, including documentation necessary to support the pursuit of extended time with test administration organizations
• Recommendations for appropriate accommodations and academic environment
Testing is usually completed in one day with one psychologist. The fee for the Post Secondary Planning Assessment is $1,900.
