About the Upper School:
Students in grades 9-12 are in the Upper School at Groves Academy. A full curriculum consisting of literature, Wilson reading (a phonetic reading program), writing, math, science, social studies, physical education, health, art, home economics and computer, are offered for each of the students in grade 9 through 10. 11th and 12th grade students have the opportunity to participate in Project Based Learning (PBL), a group and individual project approach that incorporates opportunities to learn some core Industrial Technology skills. A Transition English class is also offered for 11th and 12th grade students to become involved in career, postsecondary, self-advocacy, and personal learning style exploration. |
