Donor Highlights
- A very generous family of Groves has provided us with a matching challenge to raise $1,500,000 toward the 2009-2010 Realize the Possibilities Capital Campaign. As of October 2009, $316,000 can still be matched dollar-for-dollar by the matching challenge. The total cost of Phase 1 is $4,100,000. We still need to raise $1.46 million toward that end goal. We are in current consideration of undertaking Phase 2, a $1.7 million project, in the summer of 2010. These new projects are funded completely separate from tuition. In fact, the increased enrollment resulting from several new classrooms will create financial flexibility that will help us keep tuition in check.
- An Unrestricted Endowment for Groves Academy was established in 2007 through the generosity and foresight of The Bednarczyk Family in the form of a $50,000 matching gift. This unrestricted endowment was matched in full by July 1, 2008 creating a $100,000 starting endowment which the interest earned from the principal will be used annually to support the overall programs for students and faculty, with a special emphasis directed toward professional development programs for Groves faculty.
